blue166 What positive feedback?! Watch their trailer from last summer again, man. They know what we want, and what was in there is what we expected. EA just doesn't live up to it.
For 2-3 weeks this game was good. Then they tweaked something in defense, it didn't work out and to correct it, they updated offense. But then defense was off again, etc etc., until the game was FUBAR again. Just like the previous one, and the one before, and every other FIFA that they started updating during the season.
Here's some feedback for EA: do a reset to release date version and start over again. And if you release an update and it doesn't work out: go back. Don't try to correct one error with another
But release game was not perfect...
- Kick off goals galore
- Corner kick exploit goals everywhere
- Fidget spinning goals non stop
- Defenders could not jockey properly
- Strikers we're too agile
- Defenders we're not agile
- Wingers did not make good runs
- Strikers did not make good runs
- People were still running around with CDMs and Strikers galore
- The gameplay was too fast
- The gameplay was too jerky with R1 dribbling being over the top
- Goalkeepers too weak at near post
- Rainbow flick in to volley goals everywhere
- 10-9 Scorelines too often
- No tight tactical games
- No real strategies being used
I could go on.
SO NO, the game really wasn't ready or perfect on release.
It was the same goals every game. And if you could not beat them you joined them and that is a rubbish way to play.
I don't care what ever anyone says about Ultimate Team. From a business point of view it's a amazing. But from a player point of view from Seasons mode it's nothing short of embarrassing with women out muscling men all over the pitch, out running men all over the pitch, out manoeuvring men all over the pitch. Heck even out jumping men. People abusing skill moves right from kick off running down the wing scooping the ball non stop. It isn't even close to resembling football. And a lot of the players who play it are not interested in trying to make sim experience out of the game because the arcade nature of it has warped their beliefs in how football is played.
People abusing some stupid trophy on the corner flag. It's a joke of a mode. Sure, it has a huge player base but way too many people have lost sight of what football is for the sakes of getting excited over shiney player cards. I done that with sticker books as a kid. If I wanted to build a team and use it I'd play Football Manager.
Low driven shot goals with Pina constantly. Infact low driven shots need nerfing in general. 2nd man press needs more stamina drain. Skills need to be reduced in effectiveness. These would be good additions by EA.
Sorry to those who enjoy the Ultimate Team mode experience, but any true football fan trying to play football isn't taking that mode serious. You just can't.
