Yeah nice game EA, my players just don't turn properly, I'm forced to go down the wing, there's no real skill in this game. Even my AI, my striker is intercepting balls and also tackling really easily, if I make him play at CB. If EA doesn't revert this change, this game is going to die I have to say so. I was having fun before the patch, now I barely want to play the game. Congratulations EA x
You're in the minority I'm afraid.
The vast majority of the playerbase (Casuals and average skilled gamers) are happy with it and EA need to keep those gamers on the game.
Player retention is key.
Don't play ultimate team then, there are casual player game modes for a reason. Sometimes you have to sweat and be called a nerd to be able to win the game. You have to be prepared for to lose, you won't win every game. And if your average skilled which I am as well, simply adapt to the game. Competitve gaming takes skill. After this update there is no skill. Every game I have played every one is on their CDM holding with the defence. I was smacking people with silver cards against pay to win teams, and sometime you gotta be prepared to lose. Before the update, it was clear who deserved their divisions and now there's no deserved thing of who deserves their divisions of what not. Not that hard to be good at gaming, you just have to adapt. I work, I also study a uni degree, I'm an artist/producer/DJ but my hands are fairly good on a controller because I actually put effort in when I have my time to play. It's honestly not hard to get better.
You're missing the point.
EA don't want the casuals and lower/average skilled gamers to go to career mode or clubs, they want those players on UT, that's why they have to change the game to keep those gamers on UT.
Also just because you find it easy to adapt doesn't mean everyone does and gaming is for everyone that wants to or have we all forgotten that these days. Just because content creators/pro scene/wannabes want everything ultra competitive all the time doesn't mean the majority do
When I sit down to game and relax after the stress of real life I don't want to have to sweat and stress, a more casual experience benefits EA's player retention numbers, revenue and the majority of gamers on this game.
Let’s just make the game better—no excuses. If they want to leave UT, let them. Although I bet they won’t actually stop playing; they’ll just keep complaining. But at least make the game better. Last year’s gameplay was horrible. All I saw were 4-2-1-3 players spamming Trivelas. I don’t want to see that again. The majority of players had their fun in FC25 just leave FC26 alone. I’ll stop buying FC from next year and they can have their AI back. I just want to enjoy playing FIFA for once this year. Is that too much to ask?
