Play seasons with real teams. Mutch more fun than U.T. And the best part is that you don't need to buy expensive packs like in U.T.

sn4kedoctor​ Ultimate team is just made by EA to suck out more money from their customers with their lootboxes idea. This is actually a gambling game, and should be banned as long as the game is aimed towards children and underage peoples (the game is rated age 3+). Several contries are looking in to this now. Belgium have allready banned the activity from this company, and more contries are on the steps to follow Belgium on this.

Manus1004​  I’ve been playing seasons recently as UT the gameplay is in quicksand. Even on seasons it’s not great from time to time. Games just broken at the core. we STILL can’t see our friends stats via the seasons leaderboard 3 months in, shocking

You are playing the totally wrong gamemode online. If you want to be playing against other human players online like over 90% players do these days then you need to be playing Online Seasons with stock (real teams).

Ultimate Team is definitely not for you and I would advise against an older player playing it as it is basically arcade football and not very simulation. A lot of that is the pure sweaty style of play that people use in that mode. 

Online Seasons is mostly more football simulation based and most players play more realistic football.

You will land up where you deserve to be in terms of ability. However, no one in Seasons mode is judging you if you can't get out of Div 10 or 9 for example. Just pick the team you support and enjoy. Like anything, the more you play and get the feel the play I'm sure the better you will do.

The lesser skilled players will be down in the lower divisions but being ability based games will be more competitive for you. Though, don't be too stressed with the odd heavy defeat as some players will come along late and work there way up the divisions so occasionally you will fall victim of those games. It happens. But mostly you will be playing those of similar skill.

Seasons I have always played. It's a much better mode IMO. I prefer real world stock teams and realistic players attributes.

Or uninstall the game or don't play it try the free football game at Steam. I am not talking about Coinami.

Yes that too, I don’t have much going on at the moment and no resilience to not play. I totally agree with you though.
