What is the point

First of all, I love this game, ive played it since Fifa 97, every year I've brought it and it's the only game I play.

Im not a top player, I get to elite regularly, and pick up between 10-12 wins in champs every week, but there are some players who are just so much better, and those people I dont mind losing to at all, unless the start being toxic, then controllers get broken.

I have both editions of this game, PS4, and PS5, I started on PS5, but the game just seemed broken with stupid animations so I went back to basics and played old gen, which to begin with was brilliant and honestly like a breath of fresh air.

Obviously if im making this post, it isn't anymore, and let's be fair EA aren't going to respond or do anything about it so im just going to rant at 1AM on a Wednesday morning.

I have a 95 rated team, its ridiculous and I've spent far too much money on this game. That's a problem in itself but one that I need to do myself, but this game makes me feel like im playing silver stars tournaments from games gone by. Heavy touches, all my players feel like they're as heavy as akinfenwa, they turn like tanks. The passes dont go where they should, I find myself making 250 plus passes a game, just to try and find an opening, only for the my opponent to block the shot because it seems so delayed.

Now if it's my connection, then great, tell me and I won't waste my money on this anymore, that's fine. But ive upgraded everything I possibly can just to get some decent game play. I've upgraded to a dual sense edge, a ps5 pro, heck I've even upgraded my router to a gaming router and run an internal ethernet cable all the way through the house much do my wifes dismay.

The reality is, nobody will tell me anything, they dont care at all, because people will still buy the game every year in the vain hope it will be OK, but every patch they release it gets worse.

I checked their 'connection checker' shock horror, ea say it's a great connection. So where is the issue? I wait till Tuesday night (previously Monday) to play, so the servers are less overloaded. But tonight has been the very worst it has been.

I just want to enjoy this game, or be told officially I cant enjoy it because of my location, the servers, the time im playing, or anything else. 

At the moment it's a card collecting game, because the game is rubbish, and if that's the case I may aswell go and do trading cards or football stickers, at least you get something at the end of that.

My rewards are rubbish, hey that's just luck, but at the very least id like to enjoy the games to get those rewards.
