Why do you keep changing the gameplay so much?

The game was hard at release to get used to and when you do, you patch it and change the gameplay.

Now its so hard to play and im focusing more on my defence and constantly switching players to bring my team in a better formation then focusing on my game and my opponent. I keep having to push offside trap and team press to even have a chance at defending.

I havent played Fifa for a long time and was hoping this game would be good and wish you would stop constantly releasing patches, because it always makes the game worse.
