Auction bug — Coins taken, item never received. Is EA ignoring this?

Hi everyone,

I want to share a serious issue I’ve been dealing with, and I’m hoping to find others who have experienced the same problem — because EA Support is not taking this seriously.

What happened:

I won an auction for Francesco Totti (Trophy Titan) at over 2,000,000 coins. The coins were immediately deducted from my account, but the card was never delivered. It also vanished from my Watch List completely. I lost both the coins and the item at the same time.

How EA Support responded:

I contacted EA Support via chat. The advisor told me to “wait 24 hours.” I waited. Nothing came back. When I pushed back and pointed out that this is clearly a platform-level bug — not a bidding issue — the advisor simply told me to check this forum and see if other users have reported the same thing.

Let me be clear: being redirected to a community forum is not a resolution. It feels like EA is shifting responsibility onto users to prove that a bug exists before they will act. That is not acceptable when over 2,000,000 coins — earned through significant real-money investment — have disappeared due to what appears to be a server or transaction error.

My questions to the community:

Has anyone else won an auction and lost both the coins and the item at the same time? Has anyone experienced this specifically with high-value Trophy Titan cards? Have you been given the same “wait 24 hours / check the forum” response and received no real resolution?

If multiple users are experiencing this, this needs to be treated as a platform-wide bug — not dismissed case by case. I will continue escalating this through every available channel, including legal options, until a proper resolution is provided.

Please reply if you’ve had a similar experience. The more voices, the harder this is for EA to ignore.
