Black Screen while the Game is Running

Hi EA,

I’m currently experiencing a serious issue in FC 26 Ultimate Team on PS4.

During my Champions matches, the game itself continues running normally, but the entire match screen suddenly becomes completely black. I can still see the small radar at the bottom of the screen and the red player-switch indicators, and I can hear the game, so the match is clearly still running in the background. However, I cannot see the players, pitch, or anything else on the screen.

This has now happened in 3 out of my first 3 Champions matches today, meaning I have already lost three matches because I was forced to quit. I did not disconnect from the game myself — the match was still running, but it was completely unplayable because I could not see anything.

I have not started a fourth Champions match because I don’t want to risk losing another game due to the same issue.

Platform: PlayStation 4

Mode: Ultimate Team – Champions
Issue: Complete black screen during the match while the game continues running
Frequency: 3/3 matches today

I would really appreciate any help or information about whether this is a known issue and whether there is a fix or workaround.
