Camera lag/stuttering when panning or moving

Within the past day or two the game has become borderline unplayable due to an issue/bug/problem with the camera. Instead of smoothly following the ball and gameplay, it's become extremely janky and feels like there's almost an element of lag or stuttering to it. It's most noticeable when it's trying to move quickly to follow/keep up with passes and makes playing the game horrific, but is just generally always present and almost feels like I'm playing with FPS issues.

I've tried rivals, squad battles, rush, player career and even kick-off, and it persists in them all - so it's definitely some sort of camera issue. Nothing at all has changed with what I'm using on my end - console, TV, wifi etc., so it's fully a game related issue. I even tried turning my TVs game mode off in case that was the issue, but gameplay was the same with that setting on and off.

In terms of camera settings I have the UT Competitive Camera disabled with everything on 'co-op' except rush which is 'rush tactical' and be a goalkeeper which is 'pro'. I have power shot zoom set to 'off',  and have custom camera setting with height 10 and the rest 0. None of which have changed either for months now, it's legit just some new weird bug with the camera.

I've tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling, and changed my camera settings/restored defaults but neither have worked. Any advice or fix would be great as it's awful trying to play the game like this.
