I have gone through and tried the connection troubleshooting steps, and the same connection issue remains (please see attached screen shot).
Here are the info you have requested:
- ISP - Netvigator operated by HKT (PCCW)
- Location - Hong Kong
- Mode - not exactly sure what you meant here, but as an educated guess, I m on Playstation 5 via wifi, trying to connect to FC26 ultimate team mode and pro club mode which both have the same problem of unable to connect to EA server. It couldn’t connect to EA server just after launching the game (without picking the above two game modes) nor picking account profile option under settings in the game, still can’t connect to ea server

When it happened: 2 days ago and counting, as of this moment in time, 16:00 Hong Kong time (GMT+8) 20 Feb 2026
After searching for a solution over internet, i have come across a way to finally get connection back to EA server.
The problem seems to be EA server having a soft ban/blocks on a range of IP addresses that are provided by my ISP (Hong Kong - PCCW)
So with one of the oldest internet trick, given in Hong Kong ISP mostly do not provide a static IP address to their customers, is to manually release and renew the modem’s IP address. Your ISP will assign you with a new dynamic IP address.
This could be done via logging into your home network router (depending on your router model) and there should be an advance option somewhere to manually force the renewal of your modem (provided by your ISP) IP address.
Interestingly though after some testing, sometimes after renewing the IP address and gaining access to the EA server, and after playing a few games when I’ll need to log out and turn off my PS5 to attend some business. When I return a few hours later, I will again find myself unable to login to EA server, and henceforth require to renew the IP address again, to once again gain connection to the EA server.
Maybe EA can help looking into this? or EA are intentionally having these soft bans/block on those IP addresses? Given that PCCW is one of the largest or if not already the largest ISP in Hong Kong, this should be affecting a lot of users from Hong Kong.
Anyways thanks for attempting to help, and hope this solution can help others that are stuck with this can not connect to EA problem.

Any update? I still cannot login this EA and cannot play any online playing mode. I lost 3 days of holiday to play this game. I feel very disappoint on EA service.
