Cannot Connect to Ultimate Team

Whenever I try to go into Ultimate Team in EA FC  26 on PS5 I get a message saying:

“Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the main menu.”

I’d be grateful if anyone could suggest some ways of fixing this.

I’ve tried restarting the PS5 and our router, clearing caches, rebuilding database, changing DNS and deleting UT squads. I’ve also tried downloading the EA FC web app but it says I  “signed into another device”.

I’ve got an active PS Plus subscription.

  • Hi there. Try using the web/companion app to delete your squads. Not the players, just the squads. Then, create an empty squad and try to load into UT again on your PS5. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

  • Hi. Thanks for offering to help.

    However, when I log into the FC Companion App it tells me that I cannot use the app or the web app because I am “signed into another device”. 

    I have closed EA FC fully on the PS5 but that doesn’t seem to make any difference.
