Cannot login to FC Companion on mobile until logging in on PSN first

I am unable to log into my EA SPORTS FC 26 account on the FC Companion mobile app. The issue is specific to the combination of my account and my mobile device. Here is a detailed breakdown of the problem: The Problem: When I try to log into my account on my mobile phone, the login fails or gets stuck.
My Account on a Different Phone I tried logging into my account on a friend's mobile phone, and it worked perfectly. This confirms that my EA account is valid and in good standing.
