cant get on market

Just loaded up ultimate team today i can play all games but cannot access transfer market, i have a player sat in my "winning" bid section i cant now get, is the market down or is my game bugged?

i get " connecting to ultimate team is not possible at the moment. you will now be returned to the main menu"

but i can still play games, even on web app cant access market
