EA SPORTS FC 26 – Access Removed After Code Redemption (PC, EA App)

Hi,

I’m having an issue with EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC via the EA App, and I’m hoping this can be escalated to an EA advisor.

I redeemed a retail code for the game on 21 October 2025, and it activated successfully — the game appeared in my library, installed, and played normally for two days.

On 23 October, when launching the game, I suddenly received this message:
“Game ownership has been disabled or deleted.”

The game has now disappeared completely from my library, and I can no longer play. My EA Play Pro subscription expired two days earlier (on 19 October), so I’m confident this is an entitlement conflict or revoked license issue.

I’ve already raised a support ticket (Reference: 226473237) and followed all troubleshooting steps, including clearing cache, reinstalling, and verifying account login. EA Support has acknowledged my message, but I’m concerned about missing time-limited Ultimate Team content while waiting for escalation.

Could an EA community manager or advisor please help escalate this to the Entitlement or Account team to review my case?

Thanks very much for your time — I’d really appreciate any help getting this resolved quickly.

    In the same boat, seems a lot of people affected. Don’t know what EA are playing at

    I had no warning, no message, just clicked on the game and the "Game ownership has been disabled or deleted" message appeared. Not great from what should be a one of the leading gaming companies. Even if there is an issue, at least have the decency to message and be clear, instead of what feels a little underhand and sneaky

    i just wanted to let you know from my previous experience when i purchased battlefield hardline when it came out in 2015. I purchased it from a 3rd party website. i was able to play it for 6 months until i went to play it and it vanished.  EA told me they removed my game because it was from an unauthorised seller... I hope you purchased it from amazon or somewhere like that. if it was from somewhere else like g2a i think they were called? (was some name like that i think that i bought mine off) im not sure if they are still around, but, then it may probably stay revoked, unfortunately. I have since ever stayed away from sites like them...

    ea only have a small handful of places they consider authorised. It was my first time buying from elsewhere other than a official retailer, and my last...

    I hope it gets resolved quickly and that you get your game back!

  • Annhilator this is 100% not to do with where he got the game, I got it thru EA directly. It is just their garbage servers and game

    i never said it was definitely down to where he got the game. i simply threw out an experience where i had the rights to play a game revoked. it was my only time i have ever had a game revoked. i am only saying if it was bought else where, it may be the reason behind it. 

    i am aware the servers, and game is garbage though. there is no doubt about that... cant even play online at the moment on PC for over 24hrs as every match leads to a disconnect after a foul, or offside.

  • Have you received any answers on how to fix this or what can be done? They just tell me to clear the cache, which clearly doesn't work. It seems they've also deleted all of my Ultimate Team data.

  • Have same issue since last wednesday. I also raised a support ticket, no reply from ea yet. Deers from Canada never disappoint. 

  • I've had this issue for 9 days now, emailed them twice about it and no response. I bought the game of Loaded (CDKeys) and played it for about 2-3 weeks before it disappeared randomly. So annoyed about this and It's even more annoying that EA have sat quiet on this and haven't attempted to resolve this, and if they have then wouldn't it be a good idea to put out a "We are trying to resolve the issue, please be patient" message so we at least know they are aware of this. I'm sick of EA and It's CERTAINLY the last time I will be using their EA App as I don't think others on Steam or Epic Games have had these issues. Cannot stand these cash-grabbing, careless companies.

    The same thing happened to me. I bought the game at 10 or 11 of october and in the same day as you I tried to open the game and I got this message.
