CDKeys vs EA Key Ownership Conflict
I'm posting here for a friend as he seems to be going around in circles and we are looking for some help.
Subject: FIFA 26 Key Ownership Conflict – Trial Expired, Full Game Locked

Issue Summary: he purchased the full game key for FIFA 26 from CDKeys and redeemed it successfully on his EA account. The game appeared in his EA App library and was playable during the EA Play trial period. However, once the trial expired, the game reverted to “Buy Now” status and will not launch—despite showing as “Installed.”
Steps Taken:
- Cleared EA App cache
- Fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game
- Verified key redemption and account ownership
- Attempted to re-sync EA App entitlements
- Contacted both CDKeys and EA Support
Current Status:
- CDKeys confirms the key was valid and redeemed, but refers me to EA.
- EA Support says the issue lies with the retailer and refers me back to CDKeys.
- The game remains locked, despite being listed in my library.
What can we do?
