Game Stutters After Latest Update - PC

PS5 player experiencing a severe gameplay bug in FC 26.This sounds like your issue but different symptoms. The gameplay is behaving in the most bizarre manner I’ve seen since I started playing the game two years ago.

In both Rush and Squad Battles, I intermittently lose control of my team. Sometimes a dark overlay appears and my players become unresponsive. Pausing and resuming the match can temporarily restore control.

In a recent Squad Battles match, around the 79th minute, the AI appeared to take over my team entirely. My players were passing, attacking, and even scoring without my input. Control returned around the 86th minute after I entered the pause menu and checked controller settings.

The issue persists after disabling cross-play and after completely reinstalling FC 26.

This bug is preventing normal gameplay and affecting objective completion.

It is a vram leak issue. But they dont care about peasants like us. Literally the worst customer service has to be of EA.

SerTwentyGoodmen​ , you're not alone. I've attached an example of the issue I'm experiencing. This happens at least 10 times per game, sometimes even more. Hopefully EA addresses it soon.

Before the patch, my PC never had this problem—I maintained a steady 120 FPS at all times. The only issue I experienced was the FPS dropping by half during corners, but I could live with that since it wasn't game-breaking.

This, however, is absolutely pathetic.

hopefully EA can fix this asap as it can be severely game impacting when it happens at certain moments.

Same. I rolled back to 1.6.1 to check, and indeed — everything is fine, the problem is in 1.6.2

But I wonder, is it possible that almost every patch breaks something on PC side? They still don't know how to deal with this situation after years... and then on this forum in particular when this problem arises there is never anyone competent who gives any answer or who at least acknowledges that this problem exists.

Mate, there are no solutions on our side, our/your build is not the problem... it's always the same story, they make the patch that 90% of the time breaks something for a certain PC user and then they don't notice and days or weeks go by with the game almost unplayable. Then on this forum no one competent will answer because they have no idea how to help........
