CO-op issues

My Co-Op is not seeming to work. I try to invite a friend and it just wont show console players at all- I am on PC, and he is on a new gen console so it should work, however it wont show any console friends, rather than just the one. I don't know what the issue is, I have done verything possible for it to work, unadd and readd, clear ea app cache, crossplay is on for both of us. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled FC 26. I don't have a clue what to do anymore, even when I try to just invite throug hEA Connect it will not let me.
