Connecting to ut is not poasible at the moment error

I was playing a gauntlet game yesterday and my ps5 crashed. Ever since i have gotten the erro when trying to log into ut. I try on the companion app and it says signed i to another device. I tried on ps4 and it said in a game on a newer generation so unable to access ut. It seems like it a ghost session from yesterday.  Any work around?

  • Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Try using the web/companion app to delete your squads. Not the players, just the squads. Then, create an empty squad and try loading in to UT again. Let me know if this helps or not. Thanks!

  •  I try to go into Ultimate Team in EA FC  26 on PS5 I get a message saying:

    “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the main menu.”

    Please Help on this. I am facing this issue from Yesterday.

    Last week, the game started disconnecting me during Gauntlet matches (see picture 1). I could load into matches and play normally, but as soon as the final whistle blew, I’d get disconnected and the match wouldn’t count—regardless of whether I won or lost. Rivals and Rush matches worked without any issues.

    For the past three days, I haven’t been able to enter Ultimate Team at all. I keep getting the same error message: “Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the Main Menu.”

    I’ve already reinstalled the game and tried different networks, but nothing has fixed the problem. Console is ps4.

    What can I do to resolve this? What could be causing it? I want my money back 😭

  • I was playing the gauntlet yesterday, lost my first game because I was locked on mouse and keyboard (another frustrating issue) so had to close the game, won my 2nd and 3rd games but when it came to my 4th, i couldn't complete the game. I made two people rage quit, played two fully out to 90 mins, scored an own goal before alt+f4'ing but no matter what I did, at the end of the game i'd be kicked completely out of UT. I played another live event to see if it was all game modes but that was fine confirming just a gauntlet issue.

    So on my next attempt I thought if I close the game, i'll just take the loss ending this round of attempts for the gauntlet and hopefully fixing my problem but this just made it worse. I now haven't been able to access UT for over 12 hours. I can get on the web app fine but every time I try and log in on the game it says 'Connecting to Ultimate Team is not possible at the moment. You will now be returned to the Main Menu'.

    How do you delete a squad? If I may ask I try to do it in the app but it won’t work

    I had to change the password to my ea account then delete every squad for it to let me in

    I cant get on to webapp or companion says i am logged into another device but i am not
