controller and team management unavailable in online games. (PC)

Like the title says, when I'm playing game modes like rivels or rush, the controls would switch to keyboard and mouse. also in rivals i cant access team management to sub players, change formation and so on.

I'm wondering if it's just me or if someone else are experiencing similar issues and if there is a fix for this.

note: I know there is a fix for the controller issue (link) but I'm still going to mention it here because it requires switching to 60 fps which makes the game unplayable in my opinion. 👎
