Controller connected but not working in online games

So my controller is correctly connected and works perfectly in manus and games Vs AI (squad battles for example) but when try playing online (rivals for example) my players just do random things like running outside the pitch. The only command that works is start. In menu again works perfectly again. Back to game works for seconds and stops again… i’ve lost  count of games lost, missions and events failed so far because of this issue… even bought a new controller than become clear that there was no need… EA Help please…
