Controller not working in-game on FUT

Hi, my ps5 controller is connected to my pc. The game picks up the device and recognizes it in the menus/fut menus. Its been completely fine and working in game prior to today. As stated sbcs and anything menu related works fine with the controller but as soon as i enter any game mode it stops working. I tried even launching the game without my keyboard and mouse (as it was giving me K&M hints/suggestions to play when i was in game) and this still did not work. Are there any fixes/updates?
