Controller Randomly Stops Responding During FUT Champs (PC)

Hey, I’ve been running into a strange problem where my controller randomly stops responding, and it only seems to happen when I’m playing FUT Champs. It’s been happening in about 1 out of every 3 matches. I’ve played around 25 FUT Champs games so far, and my controller has cut out in roughly 10 of them. It doesn’t follow any pattern either, sometimes it happens during a replay, other times at halftime or full time if the match is going into extra time. The controller stays lit up like it’s still connected, but none of the inputs work.

What’s weird is that it never happens in Pro Clubs (played about 75 matches with no issues), and in Rivals I’ve played over 120 games and only seen the issue maybe five times.

I’m running the game through Steam and have tried a bunch of things, disabling “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” for all USB devices, tweaking VSync, lowering graphics settings, but nothing has fixed it.

I am using a wired PS4 controller on PC & launching the game through steam.
