There is an active bug causing these disconnects that the team is aware of and working on a fix. It's understandably frustrating.
Is this an issue with PC only or does it affect console too?, i'm on PC and still getting disconnects all the time when playing games
I'm on console and I tried this method. I changed the matchmaking system from "near my geographic position" to "all around" or something like that. Honestly it seems to get better than before. Try it and let me know!
