Cross Country play

I play NA servers but have friends on other servers ( EU mainly ) I played with last year. Now we can’t play because connection issues. We can’t search automatic connection fail message. None of us changed settings locations was just playing 25 together but not 26. Any tips to fix this or this a bigger issue
