EA FC 26 – Insane lag despite <20ms ping

My gameplay is terrible. Players are clunky and have such slow reactions it feels like a hidden 100-200ms lag, even though my ping is under 20ms and my connection score is 95+.

Does anyone have a similar experience? Late at night, the game runs smooth as butter, but that’s when I want to sleep. Why is EA doing nothing about this? It can't be that hard, especially since I'm on PS5 with crossplay off (we're all playing on the same hardware). It’s total garbage even with a high-end connection. Does anyone have a similar experience?
