I am trying to play CO-OP Rivals with a friend (I am on PC, he is on Xbox)
When we join each other's lobby the option for Rivals/Squad Battles is not active. It stays faded out and not available to be selected.
We can't play. Both have cross-play enabled.
Any help is appreciated.
I’m experiencing the same issue.
After entering the lobby, menus such as Squad Battles don’t become active, and I can’t proceed any further.
Both my friend and I are on PS5.
Theres a temporary solution you can try:
When you see the "Waiting for friend screen", hold the down button. As soon as your friend joins the lobby, you can either quickly select the Division Rivals option or just start spamming the X button. Holding down and spamming X is what works for me. Hopefully this helps until EA fixes it.
