EA FC 26 Not Launching - Account issue confirmed

When I launch EA FC 26, it shows the splash screen for anti cheat, closes then shows the EA FC 26 window which closes and redirects me to the EA app.

I troubleshooted using many methods suggested on the forums but none worked. I logged out of my EA account on the same PC and logged into my friends. Launching the game then worked as expected so this is an account issue.

I've checked for any bans (I have none), removed all trusted devices and it still did not work.

    Hi M33HTAB​, it sounds like it could be corrupted cached data. Could you give these few steps a try please?

    • Clear the EA app cache
    • Repair Game Files
    • Clean boot your device ( Windows / Mac )

    If the loading issues on the launcher continues after that, pop a list of the troubleshooting steps you've already run through below to help rule out some potential causes.

    Hi EA_Lanna​, the issue is not local as I tried running the game on a new PC and it still did not work.

    Here is what I've tried:

    • 3 steps you suggested
    • Repairing Anti Cheat
    • Going offline in the EA app and then trying to launch
    • Deleting game files in local app data
    • Reinstalling windows
    • Creating a local account on windows and trying to run the game on there
    • Reinstalling the game from scratch

     

    I've tried many methods but none worked. This is definitely an account issue. I'd love to make this game work but for some reason on my account it refuses to. The agent assured me the bug has been reported but I've seen this same issue posted a couple months ago with no fix so I have no confidence it this. Is there anyone who can help me?

    Hi M33HTAB​,

    Appreicate the list of things you've tried so far. Noticed this one mentioned: 

    • Creating a local account on windows and trying to run the game on there

    Would you mind trying that step one more time; creating a new local Windows admin account, and then logging into the EA app there to see if it still bounces you back to the EA app client from there? 

    If it does, can you share if you're getting an error message or pop up before it completes the bounce back?

    It's been a while since we've heard from you. Hoping that means this advice did the trick and you've been able to launch the game again:
