EA FC 26 stuck at 5–10 FPS
Hey everyone,
I’m posting this for my friend because we’ve been trying to fix this issue for weeks and it’s killing the fun we used to have on Pro Clubs.
Since EA Sports FC 26 came out, his game is completely stuck around 5–10 FPS whenever he joins Clubs mode.
In the main menu, everything runs totally fine — smooth and stable FPS.
But as soon as he enters Clubs (even just in the lobby or a match), the FPS drops to single digits and the game becomes totally unplayable.
Here’s what’s weird:
- Every other game works perfectly.
- He never had this problem in previous years.
- Sometimes there’s a random temporary fix — if he joins Ultimate Team and plays a Moments match first, the FPS suddenly goes back to normal for a while. But it’s inconsistent and only works randomly.
- We’ve literally tried everything possible:
- Reinstalled FC 26 several times
- Tried both SSD and HDD
- Reinstalled Windows (even switched from 10 to 11)
- Changed every graphics setting imaginable (low, high, capped FPS, V-Sync on/off, windowed/fullscreen)
- Reinstalled GPU drivers clean
- Updated BIOS, chipset, DirectX — everything
- Still, Clubs stays broken while all other modes and games are smooth.
At this point we’re 99% sure it’s something wrong with EA FC 26 itself, not hardware.
It’s frustrating because we can’t even play Clubs together anymore — and that’s literally the only reason we bought the game.
