Error changing players in the game system from the game's main menu

In FC 26 (PS5 version), when I go to "Customize," "Edit Teams," and "Game System" in the main menu and select a team, sometimes it won't let me change the players on that team. I restart the game and even turn off the PlayStation, but everything is still the same when I log back in; I can't do anything with that team. I don't know how to fix this so I can add other players to the starting eleven without having to reset the squads, since that's the only way I can unlock the error, but of course, I have to add the players back to those teams. Having to do that every time is frustrating. This usually happens with teams where I've added players from other clubs through the "Interclub Transfers" section. Please try to fix this. Thank you.
