FC 26 – DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED crash on RTX 4070

When launching EA SPORTS FC 26 on my laptop, the game only runs on the Intel Iris integrated GPU (Power Saving mode). If I force the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU, the game crashes immediately with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED. Driver version is 58129.

I have already tried clean reinstalling NVIDIA drivers, fully updating Windows 11, verifying and repairing game files in EA App, forcing RTX 4070 through Windows graphics settings and NVIDIA Control Panel, disabling overlays, and lowering graphics settings. None of these solved the issue.

My system specs: Windows 11 Pro, Intel i7 (13th Gen), NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (Driver 58129), Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU, 16 GB RAM.

Request: Please advise if there is an official fix for this issue. Does FC 26 support forcing DirectX 11 mode (-dx11)? Or is there a known compatibility issue with RTX 40-series GPUs and DirectX 12?

I get this same error after playing for about an hour, but only when I have G-sync turned on. Only fix for me is turning off G-sync completely in the Nvidia control panel and in my monitor settings.

I have a 5080 in a desktop pc btw

How can i turn off g-sync in the nvidia control panel?

I've solved the problem. You need to go to the graphics switcher in the device settings on the Omen Gaming Hub and select the discrete. This will only use the external graphics card, but it seems to be the only temporary solution.

same problem i have a rtx 4070 as well

esa opcion arranca el juego, pero va muy lento y a tirones. y lo que es peor, todos los juegos que tengas instalados te van igual de mal

This error still happens when i'm in the game, the game crashes and shows me this error... i've tried most of the fixes that i've seen online, and unfortunately none of them worked ... i have payed 90€ (and without counting the ea play pro, and the fc points that i bought) for a game that crashes ... none of the other games that i play crash like this ... this is exclusive to ea fc 26 ... here is the DxDiag and a print of what usually happens ... pls resolve this because it's really annoying!
