We do our best when developing our games, but nevertheless, software bugs are a reality of game development. While we work to squash as many bugs as possible, we know that some can slip through.
We want to ensure you have the best gameplay experience possible, so we appreciate it if you can take the time to report any bugs or give us feedback about your experience.
When you report a bug, we review the reports and work with the game development team to identify the reported bugs and issues that most impact our players. Unfortunately, we won't be able to respond and give updates on every single post, but I can assure you that doesn't mean your problem is forgotten.
Where to post?
To keep things organized, please always post in the most appropriate forum category.
In here, the FC 26 Bug Reports section is really only for reporting bugs. If you want to provide feedback about something, head over to our dedicated feedback board - FC 26 Feedback & Suggestions.
Or, if you are experiencing more of a technical issue, better post in our FC 26 Technical Issues section.
It can sometimes be confusing whether an issue is due to a bug or a technical issue. It's okay if you're unsure where to post, but as a quick rule of thumb, a bug would need to be fixed in a patch/update, and a technical issue might be fixable with troubleshooting. For example, any kind of download or installation issues.
When providing information on a bug report, posting on an existing thread is okay if your issue is exactly the same as the original post. If you are experiencing a similar issue with slight variations, please create your own topic.
- If you find multiple bugs, create a separate thread for each one. Also, separate bug and feedback posts. While this may seem tedious, It helps us get to the point of the bugs making a more effective experience for you and us.
- Please post a subject with a clear summary of your issue. Starting posts with "I need help!" or "Can't play no matter what" only serves to make your issue harder to resolve. We understand that emotions can run high while dealing with technical issues, but posting in an abusive or disparaging manner will not be tolerated and does not advance our goal of assisting the widest audience of players in this forum.
What information do we require?
A vital part of a bug report is that we can reproduce the issue you are seeing. A clear screenshot of what you're experiencing, or a short video clip, can be a lifesaver for us.
Generally, as many details as possible with clear descriptions would be helpful. Some typical information that should be included would be the following:

- Gamertag/PSN ID/EA ID:
- Game mode and where in the mode the issue happened:
- Summary of the issue:
- Potential Repro Steps:
- Recent Timestamp (Date, Time, Timezone):
- Especially within UT, Timestamps are vital and it's important they are recent (no older than 48hrs if possible)
- Videos or Screenshots:
How to use tags?
Tags are something like hashtags and useful to indicate what your issue is mainly about. These can be used as filters to help narrow down if something was reported before. They also give information needed for a bug report, since this forum doesn't have a template.
Thread Tags will be added/removed if they are wrong or missing. To edit tags afterwards in your own post, click on the cogwheel all the way to the top right to edit the first post.
The available tags will be different per board, and it will also be mandatory to select at least 1 tag before posting. Most essential, please make sure to select the tag for the platform you're playing on.
