FC 26 Career Mode crashes every time I try to play a match on Xbox
I’m having a Career Mode issue on Xbox where the game crashes every time I try to actually enter a match.
The Career save itself loads normally and I can navigate menus, make transfers, edit the squad and progress through the calendar. Quick Sim also works. However, as soon as I try to load into a Career Mode match, FC 26 crashes.
This first happened with the Community Shield and now also happens with Premier League matches, so it is not isolated to one fixture.
I have already tried:
- normal Play Match
- launching the match through the Calendar
- Tactical View
- live simulation
- Quick Sim — this works
- fully quitting and restarting FC 26
- hard power cycle of the Xbox
- removing the physical disc and launching using the digital licence
- clearing local Xbox save data and re-syncing the Career save from the cloud
- testing normal Kick Off matches — Kick Off works correctly
- restarting/reloading the Career save multiple times
The issue remains exactly the same.
The important part is that Kick Off matches work and Quick Sim works, but Career Mode matches crash when the game tries to load the actual match environment.
