FC 26 closes when connecting to EA servers - Steam version
EA SPORTS FC 26 closes every time it tries to connect to EA servers.
The game launches normally and I can reach the profile screen. After pressing Enter and starting the EA connection process, the game closes without any error message.
This problem existed before formatting my PC. I performed a complete clean installation of Windows 11 and reinstalled everything from scratch, but the issue remains.
I already tried:
- Clean Windows 11 installation
- Reinstalling Steam, EA App and FC 26
- Updating Windows, NVIDIA drivers and AMD chipset drivers
- Verifying game files
- Clearing EA App cache
- Disabling Steam and EA overlays
- Running Steam and EA App as administrator
- Renaming FC 26 configuration folders
- Reinstalling EA Javelin AntiCheat
- Testing Cloudflare WARP
- Disabling IPv6 temporarily
- Checking Windows Event Viewer and Reliability Monitor
Nothing solved the problem.
When testing Cloudflare WARP, the behavior changed and FC 26 displayed "EA Servers are unavailable right now", suggesting the problem happens during EA server authentication/connection.
The game is currently unusable despite being purchased. Any help from EA or other players experiencing this issue would be appreciated.
