FC 26 Clubs : Opponent connection lost before match starts

Issue Summary:
I am unable to play any Clubs matches. Every time my club finds an opponent, the match fails before it starts and I receive the following message:
“It looks like your opponent has disconnected. Restart the search.”
This happens repeatedly and prevents us from playing Clubs entirely.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch EA SPORTS FC 26.
- Enter Clubs mode.
- Join my club and search for a match.
- Matchmaking finds an opponent.
- Before the match begins, the connection fails and the error message appears.
Expected Result:
The match should start normally after matchmaking.
Actual Result:
The matchmaking fails every time with the “Opponent connection lost” error, and we are returned to matchmaking.
Frequency:
100% of the time (every matchmaking attempt).
Troubleshooting Already Completed:
- Restarted the game multiple times.
- Restarted the PlayStation 5.
- Restarted the internet router.
- Reinstalled the game.
- Verified that my internet connection is stable.
- Tried both Wi-Fi and wired connection (if applicable).
- Changed the party leader.
- Tried playing with different club members.
- Checked NAT type and network settings.
- The issue still occurs consistently.
Additional Information:
This issue makes Clubs completely unplayable. It appears to be a server-side matchmaking or connection issue rather than a local network problem, as all recommended troubleshooting steps have already been completed.
Please investigate this issue and advise if there is a known fix or if additional information is required.
