FC 26 Freezes, Profile specific issue
Hi everyone,
I’m having a persistent, profile-specific issue with EA Sports FC 26 on Xbox One using Game Pass Ultimate. Every time I try to select my favorite team and accept the league setup, the game freezes completely. The loading icon disappears, and the game becomes entirely unresponsive.
Here’s the kicker: other Xbox profiles on the same console work perfectly, so this is definitely tied to my specific EA/Xbox profile. I’ve tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including:
- Reinstalling the game completely
- Deleting all local save data
- Clearing the console cache and doing a full power cycle
- Signing in and out of my EA account
- Attempting to play the game on a completely different Xbox console
Unfortunately, nothing has worked. My EA profile is correctly connected to EA servers, and I can access other online features without any issues. The problem started recently, although this profile used to work perfectly before.
I suspect this might be a server-side or profile-specific data issue. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem? Or does anyone know a safe way to reset the profile or fix this freezing without risking game progress or purchases? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
