I just wanted to follow up here that there was indeed a shader cache issue during FC 26 release which didn't properly load all gameplay related shaders and that was the cause for the drops in performance as gameplay starts.
A fix for this already went out in late October.
If anyone is still dealing with shader issues, please try clearing your GPU's shader cache, updating your graphics drivers and perhaps even doing a clean reinstall of your drivers. If you're not playing on a powerful PC, lowering or disabling some graphics settings might also show improvements.
Done everthing you just said and much more but nothing seems to work. What about just giving us a playable game just like every other gaming company does
