FC 26 restarting PC

Hi there. Thanks for listing everything you already tried — that rules out most of the basic steps. Try the following steps if the whole PC is crashing while playing. 

1. Repair all installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributables in Windows Control Panel.
2. Run Command Prompt as Administrator and use sfc /scannow to scan, detect, and repair corrupted, damaged, or missing system files
3. Reboot, then install the latest BIOS update available for your motherboard.
4. Go to ...\EA SPORTS FC 26\__Installer\EAAntiCheat\EAAntiCheat.Installer and run Repair/Install for EA AntiCheat.
5. Do a deeper clean reset of FC 26 and EA App data: uninstall the game, delete AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26, AppData\Local\EADesktop, plus AppData\Roaming\EA and AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts, then reinstall

I have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps (including EA AntiCheat repair, system file checks, reinstalling the game, and updating drivers/BIOS), but the issue still persists.

I have also tested several demanding games, and everything works normally. For example, Battlefield 6 runs stable online for hours, and all other games work without any crashes or restarts.

The BIOS and all system/game-related software are fully updated. The game also worked normally when I first installed it.

The issue is very specific: only FC 26 causes an instant PC restart while playing, with no crash, no freeze, and no BSOD. The system simply restarts immediately.

Because everything else works fine, this seems to be specific to FC 26 or its anti-cheat/system interaction.

I would appreciate any advanced logs or deeper troubleshooting steps for this type of issue.

hey buddy.. me too.. i thought my gpu problem but after i try other games, all running perfect.

Here are some additional steps to try if your system is crashing or restarting:

1. Do a clean boot and launch FC 26 with all overlays, monitoring tools, and capture software fully closed.
   This includes Discord overlay, Steam or EA overlay, Xbox Game Bar,  GeForce Experience, ShadowPlay, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, ReShade, and similar background tools.
2. Perform a full EA AntiCheat reinstall — not just Repair:
   • Go to C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe
   • Uninstall FC 26 AntiCheat
   • Delete C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat
   • Reboot your PC
   • Reinstall or repair EA AntiCheat, then launch the game again
3. Reset FC 26 local config files so the game can rebuild them from scratch:
   • Open C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26
   • Delete fcsetup, settings, and Umcache
   • If present, also reset the FC 26 folder under Documents so the game can recreate fresh config files
4. Test the game from a brand-new Windows administrator account to rule out a profile-specific Windows issue.

I've been having this problem for months , anyone got the fix?

No fix for me. Tried everything and nothing worked. Uninstalled the game for now and waiting for an update. Other games run fine, so it’s the game, not my PC.

Since you’ve already tried most of the standard steps, the main extra checks left would be to make sure Secure Boot is enabled, test the game with all overlays, monitoring, tuning apps fully closed, and return the system to full stock settings if any overclock, undervolt, PBO, or XMP is enabled.

Because the PC is restarting instantly with no error, it could also point to a lower-level conflict between the game, Windows, drivers, or background software, which may be outside our direct control.

If the issue continues also on a new Windows administrator account, please share a DxDiag  so we can gather a bit more detail.

its happening to me too every time i try launch h2h boom restart only thing working is training centre the game might just be garbage for pc ngl
