FC 26 Won’t Launch – Application Error 0xc0000005 After Trying Every Known Fix

Hello,

I am unable to launch EA Sports FC 26 through Steam. Every time I try to start the game, I receive the following error:

“FC26.exe – Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005).”

I have already tried virtually every solution I could find online:

1. Uninstalled and reinstalled EA AntiCheat.
2. Disabled the NVIDIA App overlay and the Steam overlay.
3. Closed all potentially conflicting background applications from the system tray, including OneDrive and X-Rite Color Assistant. The only applications still running are NVIDIA Settings and Logitech G HUB.
4. Tried different compatibility settings for all relevant executable files.
5. Ran Steam and FC26.exe as administrator.
6. Updated DirectX, Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables, and my graphics card drivers.
7. Confirmed that Windows is fully updated.
8. Set FC26.exe to “High performance” in Windows graphics settings and manually selected my dedicated graphics card.
9. Ran the following system repair commands as administrator:

sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Both commands completed successfully.
10. Cleared the EA app cache.
11. Verified the integrity of the game files through Steam. Steam reported that all files were successfully validated.
12. Restarted the computer countless times during the troubleshooting process.

Nothing has helped. The game still immediately crashes with error 0xc0000005.

All other games and applications on this computer work normally. FC 26 is the only application that refuses to launch.

What else can I do to identify the exact cause of this error? Are there any specific FC 26, EA app, EA AntiCheat, Windows Event Viewer, or crash log files that I should check and share?

I would appreciate specific instructions rather than another list of general troubleshooting steps that I have already completed.
