FC26 does not start

Hey I had the exact same problem for months! Skip all the usual fixes like reinstalling drivers, secure boot, reinstalling the game etc because none of that worked for me. The actual fix is super simple — go to Start and search for 'environment variables', open 'Edit the system environment variables', click 'Environment Variables' in the Advanced tab, find a variable called 'GAME_DATA_DIR' and delete it, click OK and restart your PC. Game launched instantly after that. Try this first before doing anything else!

I checked it, and it showed that everything went well and the files were restored, but the game still doesn't launch. I also created a second profile, but it still has the same error

 I'm seeing a number of errors there so the best thing to do is go ahead and run System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system.

Can you also try creating a new Windows admin account and try the game there to see if you continue to have the same issue?
