Unacceptable increase in latency and inconsistent gameplay

I have been playing EA SPORTS FC for many years, and I have never been as disappointed as I am now.

I am playing from Bucharest, Romania on a PS5 connected via Ethernet with Digi Fiber. I have thoroughly tested my network: stable connection, no packet loss, no jitter, and no issues on my side. Despite that, my matchmaking latency has increased from around 22ms to 38-40 ms, and the gameplay quality has become significantly worse.

Matches are extremely inconsistent. Sometimes the gameplay is smooth, sometimes it becomes heavy during the match, and other times it is unresponsive from the very first minute. Players feel slow, delayed, and completely different from one match to another.

This is not a hardware or home network issue. I have already tested my connection extensively.

I would like to know if the routing for Romanian players has changed or if the Turkey data center is no longer being used, because the difference in latency is very noticeable.

I have spent years supporting this franchise, investing both my time and my money. Unfortunately, the current online experience is unacceptable. A competitive online game is defined by its gameplay quality, and when latency increases by almost 50% without any changes on my side, the product simply does not deliver the experience customers paid for.

Unless this issue is acknowledged and addressed, I will not be purchasing EA SPORTS FC 27. I cannot justify paying full price for a competitive game where the online experience varies so dramatically from one match to another.

I expect a clear explanation regarding:

-Why matchmaking latency for Romanian players has increased from approximately 22 ms to around 38-40 ms.

-Whether the routing or data centers serving Romania have changed.

-Whether the Turkey data center has been removed from rotation and, if so, which data center is currently serving players from Romania.

This is not just my personal experience. A significant number of competitive players and content creators have reported similar issues regarding inconsistent gameplay and increased delay. I am asking for transparency and a technical explanation rather than a generic troubleshooting response.
