FC26 PC launches Javelin AntiCheat, opens black window, then closes to EA App
FC26 will not launch on my PC.
What happens:
- EA Javelin AntiCheat loads normally
- FC26 opens as a black window
- After a few seconds, the game closes
- I am returned to the EA App
- No error message or error code appears
F1 25 launches normally through the same EA App, so this appears to be specific to FC26.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- Reinstalled FC26 completely
- Repaired the game files
- Cleared the EA App cache
- Reinstalled EA Javelin AntiCheat
- Ran the EA App as administrator
- Confirmed BIOS mode is UEFI
- Confirmed Secure Boot is enabled
- Confirmed TPM 2.0 is ready
- Performed a clean boot
- Disabled overlays and unnecessary background software
- Removed VPN software
- Reset/renamed the FC26 local settings folders
- Repaired/reinstalled both x86 and x64 Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
- Restarted the PC after each relevant change
PC details:
- Windows 11
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
- Secure Boot enabled
- TPM 2.0 enabled
EA Support has confirmed that the issue has been reported as a potential bug, but no fix has been provided yet.
