FC26 ps5 overheating

Hello, I am experiencing a serious overheating/shutdown issue with FC 26 on my PS5 Slim (disc version). The issue only happens with FC 26. I have played other demanding games without any problems...

Just so you are aware, other games not having issues does not mean much or help us narrow down the cause of an issue. The others you mention are not as demanding as something like FC 26 and in fact two of them are last-gen games.

If your console is heating up to the point where it is shutting down then this is almost certainly a system or hardware issue.

Have you spoken with PSN support about this or sent your console off to them for testing?

If there is a game side issue causing something like this then it would be something that all players are seeing and as we are not seeing this, then this is almost certainly something on your side.
