Game freeze during match, PS5

Hey MrMcGhie​ first thing to do is to make sure that your console fans are not being restricted or covered.

Can happen that issues with the fans being covered can cause issues like this.

Hey Darko,

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. I can confirm the console is well ventilated (stood on a TV console in the open), and there's no dust around the air vents.

The freezing happens when first booting the console cold, or when paying another title without issue beforehand.

I've now noticed the match timing makes no difference, and that match commentary and the team line up scrolling bar continues during the freeze.

Hey EA_Darko​,

Thanks for the suggestion. I've reset the console as per the link, have only installed FC26 and still the problem remains. This is the only title I see freezing in, titles such as Battlefield 6 and Forza Horizon 5 run without issue. 

Given the game sounds and animations continue to play,  I would expect this to be a game issue.

Are there any other solutions? Alternatively, can I provide any further information or even media to help investigate?
