Game freezing and crashing on EA FC 26 [PC]

I've finally narrowed down some of my instant crashes to what seems like pop ups and/or notifications from other programs during gameplay (steam/printer/etc..). But now I am just freezing with a not actively playing the game in the middle of the screen. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I've done numerous things already from reinstall/repair/admin access. HELP!
