Input / Disconnection

Twice today I started a Live Event (Thunderstruck Flash 2), and in match there was no response to any controller input (there was in the menus and the rest of the game.) I tried with a Bluetooth controller and a wired controller and got the same issue. I then got a warning about disconnection for not having played, despite being unable to do anything in game. (This has previously happened once in a Rush game.)

    This has just happened again in a Rush game. Controller works until the game starts. I get a warning, game is forfeited due to "not playing", back to menus and controller works again. 
    Restarted FC26 and the issue went away.
