I want to clearly describe the input delay issue I’m facing in FC26, especially after the recent update, along with my setup and conditions.
My conditions:
• Platform: PC (Steam version)
• Controller: DualSense controller
• Internet: Ethernet connection (200 Mbps)
• EA Connection Quality Report: 93%
• In-game ping: 10–15 ms
• Graphics settings: All set to lowest
• System performance: CPU, GPU, and RAM usage all below 60%
Issue description:
Before the update, input delay would only happen occasionally during the middle of a match, and it usually lasted just a few seconds before returning to normal.
After the latest update, the issue has become much worse:
• At the start of the match, the first ~10 seconds are smooth.
• After that, input delay suddenly kicks in. But the in-game FPS remain smooth.
• My players don’t respond immediately to controller inputs ,there’s about a 10–15 second delay.
• Once it starts, the delay continues for the rest of the match.
Additional observation:
• No issues when playing Rush mode — gameplay is smooth and responsive.
• The problem only happens in Clubs mode.
So it feels like this might be mode-specific rather than a hardware or general connection issue.
Has anyone experienced this after the update, especially in Clubs? Any fixes or suggestions would really help.
Thanks in advance!
Having the same problem. But in UT. Always happening after first half.
Unfortunately, EA doesn’t care anymore to PC user.
