Input Delay Post Recent Patch Update (v1.5.3)

Question

It’s been about 2 weeks since the last patch update (v1.5.3) and the game is still basically unplayable in any UT online mode. Every input has a 5+ second delay, even hitting pause takes forever.

This isn’t on my end. My internet is fine, my system is fine, and I’ve even dropped everything to the lowest settings just to test it. Nothing changes.

I’m on PC(laptop, to be more specific) and just trying to figure out how many other people are dealing with this, and whether it’s a platform-specific issue. Because at this point, it’s ridiculous.

I haven’t seen EA acknowledge this anywhere. Is it really not widespread enough to even get a response?

This all started right after the last patch. How are we supposed to play a game we paid for when it’s this broken, with no fix or even any communication? Are they just unable to revert it back to pre-patch settings? Unacceptable….

It's mostly laptop problem i think. I have the same issue, but I managed to overcome it by using my laptops program to switch fans to max. Before the patch i could play on automatic fan usage, now i can only play normally if i use max fan speed. Otherwise the delay makes playing impossible.

But for example rush and squad battles work normally, sometimes i get fps drops in squad battles, but again, it's on the latest patch that instead of optimizing the game, made it worse. Even my friends confirm that the game runs way worse than before the latest patch.
