lost server connection at halftime, now can’t connect at all

so i was in the middle of a squad battles game and got to halftime with no issues. as soon as i clicked resume match i got the message that i lost connection to the servers. i then restarted my game and still couldn’t connect to the servers. i’ve tried restarting both my xbox and router and ive even done a normal restart as well as a full power cycle on my console and yet i still can’t connect to the ea servers for fc 26. i even went as far to try other ea games like ncaa and pga tour and connected to those fine. i went through the ea help page and tried to open a case but i couldn’t find how to do that anywhere. i’ve tried everything except uninstalling the game and reinstalling it. any help would be appreciated.
