Missing 18,500 FC Points After Successful Steam Purchase – No Support Response
Hello, I am posting here because I have a serious issue with a purchase I made inside EA Sports FC 26 on Steam, and EA Support has been no help so far. Earlier today I purchased 18,500 FC Points through the in-game store. Steam opened the overlay for payment, I entered my card details, and I received a message saying the purchase was successful. After confirming and authorizing, the points normally show up immediately. This time, instead of receiving my points, I got this error message: There has been an error with the FC Store checkout, please try again later. What I have already tried: Restarted the game and Steam Followed all troubleshooting steps from the EA Help page Gathered all required information (proof of purchase on Steam, time, amount, etc.) Submitted a request through the EA App, which generated a case number that does not appear under My Cases The support page says once you have gathered this info, get in touch with us. But there is no working way to actually contact EA directly. The Contact Us page only lets you upload one file, and after I did this, no case appeared under My Cases and I never received a confirmation email. Meanwhile, Steam immediately confirmed my payment with an email and even created a support ticket when I asked them for help. The transaction shows in my Steam purchase history and wallet. The issue is clearly with EA’s system, not the payment. Right now I am out 18,500 points, which is a costly purchase, and I have no way of claiming them or getting any update from EA. I also see other forum posts from recent days with the same issue, and none have been answered by EA staff. This is extremely frustrating because the purchase is non-refundable on Steam, and I do not even want a refund. I just want the points I paid for. My questions are: How do I actually get in touch with EA about this if the Contact Us system is broken? What is EA going to do about this ongoing issue where purchases do not deliver points but still charge full price? How can players be confident their purchases are safe if this keeps happening without a response? I have spent a lot on this game, I buy points often, and until now, they have always shown up right away. Please fix this or provide a clear way to resolve it. Thanks.
