Missing Pre order content

So, as I’ve seen on multiple posts across here and Reddit, I have the issue of not received the 5 Star Youth Scout or 5 Star coach within career mode.  
EAHelp don’t seem interested and just fobbed me off on here to make a post that won’t be seen. 
tried multiple solutions including: Restarting game, deleting & Reinstalling, ‘Restore License’ and trying multiple saves across top and lower leagues.

what I’m gathering is it was false advertisement, I’ve received the ultimate team bonus content just not career mode apart from the three icons I received.
