It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t been able to get in contact with anyone. My game says failed to load when I try to load in on my pc. It only gives me the option to delete my save which I’m not gonna do as I don’t wanna lose my progress. I have provided screenshots to ea help and it’s been radio silence. I am unable to do anything on the game so I haven’t been able to play for weeks.
Community ManagerHey quackrrr6 There is a chance that your save or settings file got damaged. You can create a backup file and then delete it to check if that's the case.
Make a copy and only then delete the existing settings folder from this location C:\Users[Username]\AppData\Local\EA SPORTS FC 26 (AppData is usually a hidden folder, so it can be made visible from the View dropdown.)
Hey, sorry but still have a bit of an issue. Because I can’t find the file that you listed
As in I found where eafc is located but I am unable to find the file that was listed when I searched for it.
Community ManagerAre you sure you’ve checked the AppData folder for it? Also, is the game installed in the default location, or did you change the installation path during setup?
It’s on my default drive but I can not find that file you are talking about. I’ve tried to search it directly aswell as just looking through all the eafc game files and I am unable to find it
Hold up I’m so dumb just found it. So do I copy this file then delete the existing one
Made a copy and delete the existing one and it’s still happening
It just makes a new file everytime instead of using the copy
it finally used the new file but it’s still saying failed to load
Still having the issue. What should I do next?
